Dr. Steve Matza

Dr. Steve Matza has over 36 years of experience in industrial chemistry. He earned his bachelor of science from SMU and his doctorate from Purdue’s prestigious Analytical Chemistry Program. Matza interned at NASA and spent many years at Shell as a Research Chemist, Senior Process Chemist, and Corrosion Specialist before he joined ZymeFlow Decon. He holds 8 patents and has several published papers.

In his current role, Matza is responsible for research and development, product recommendations, technical support, and exploring new product applications. Matza has also been instrumental in the development and introduction of several new chemistries in the ZymeFlow Decon Technology product line.


Mr. Abdullah Al Enazi

Winner of MTI 1st value Grand champion award at 2014. Certified in some APIs & ASNT-NDTs. Currently, studying a master degree on engineering management.

Abdul earned his Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. He holds certifications from both the Institute of Asset Management and theInstitute of Risk Management, and he is a Certified Reliability Leader (awarded by the Reliability Institute).

Prior to Bentley, he has held leadership roles in the areas of reliability and asset risk management.

Marc has more than 20 years of experience in operations and consulting roles in various industries. After university, he started at Shell E&P Research. He joined an NDT contractor firm, focused on asset integrity inspections. Then he moved to ABB in a maintenance consulting role, performing RCM and maintenance improvement projects. Over the last 10 years Marc worked as a consultant at a local European consulting firm as manager of the Reliability Engineering practice and later in Accenture, a global consulting firm as practice leader for asset performance management solutions. Currently Marc is a solution architect for DuPont Sustainable Solutions working on Operational Excellence and Operational Risk Management projects in Europe and Middle East, Russia and India.

John Alkemade is the Managing Director EMEA with Asset Performance Networks and based in the office in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He shares responsibility for the development and growth of the company’s European, Middle East and Africa businesses. John has more than 25 years of experience in project/turnaround management in the energy, oil, gas, and chemical industries.

In 1991, John started his career as a chemical engineer for Lummus Crest in the Netherlands. He lived for 1½ years in the USA to work as a project manager – Dynamic Simulators with ABB Simcon and returned to ABB Lummus Global as Business Development Manager – Ethylene Technology. Prior to joining AP-Networks in 2006, John was with IPA, as a senior project management consultant.

John has a strong involvement in change management and in the development of managerial tools that are geared towards project and turnaround performance improvement. He has written white papers and has delivered presentations on numerous international conferences.

John Alkemade holds a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Amsterdam in The Netherlands.

He has been working as Senior Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) since June 2012 in ADCO. Previously, worked as Electrical Superintendent in the National Petrochemical Industrial Company (NATPET), Yanbu,KSA, and as Electrical Unit Chief at the Yanbu Power and Desalination Plants, KSA.

He started his career as Scientific Officer / Engineer in the Nuclear Power Corporation of India in 1988 after completion of one year In-plant training. Worked in the Electrical Maintenance and Technical Servicesin the NPCIL, India for about 11 years and then moved to KSA.

Throughout his career, he has been focusing on proactive maintenance and condition monitoring of electrical equipment. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, USA. He contributed to establish the condition monitoring system in NATPET and ADCO.


Mubarak Nasser Al Mheiri

Mubarak Nasser Al Mheiri was born in 1977 in Al Ain, UAE. He received the bachelor in electrical engineering from Higher Colleges of Technology,Al Ain in 2012. He joined Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Petroleum Operations (ADCO) since 2002. He work as an electrical engineer in ADCO Asab field with the responsibility of maintaining overhead transmission lines and power skids. His working interest is in maintenance and reliability of power equipment.

Graduated from Alexandria University, faculty of Engineering, Mechanical power Department in 1995. Over 20 years hands on experience in O/G industry in the field of Maintenance, condition monitoring, Reliability, maintenance optimization and Maintenance planning.

During his 10 years GCC experience; he has been working for ADCO in ASAB Field, however in his home country Egypt; he worked for 10 years in Natural Gas processing and Liquification plants handling On & Off Shore platforms.

Started his career as a rotating equipment maintenance engineer for medium & high speed machinery and got deeply involved in the condition monitoring and balancing tasks for different types of equipment. Then he moved to the maintenance optimization, reliability and maintenance planning functions. Such exposure to almost all maintenance related functions assisted him to have an integrated vision to the maintenance process.

Throughout his career; he has been always concerned about proactive maintenance and utilizing up to date technology to assess rotating equipment condition. His solid maintenance experience assisted him to smoothly acquire so many cases and successfully resolve eminent problems. He is ISO 18436, Cat II Vibration Analysis certified and Aladon RCM certified facilitator.

He contributed to establish the condition monitoring system in ADCO and contributed to produce ADCO Maintenance Manual and ADNOC Code of Practice for Maintenance.

Walid Mossa

Walid Mossa is Reliability Specialist graduated from university of New Heaven, CT, USA with M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering. In his career-establishing journey, he managed to retain a diversified experience n reliability management, in both upstream and down stream oil and gas industries. He started in refinery operations focusing on resolving chronic failure utilizing RCA techniques, and then moved to the arena of setting Asset reliability while adopting risk- based approach in identifying maintenance and inspection work. Mr. Mossa, with the maintenance teams in ADCO Fields have conducted a large scale implementation of Full RCM analyses covering all critical equipmentf in 15 operational locations, he, as certified RCM facilitator and Project Manger, was responsible for developing, implementing RCM process across ADCO, and assessing the effectiveness of such implementation. Walid Mossa’s new assignment is to develop variety of RAM models across all ADCO production Assets, to assess production availability, where in addition, he targeted to utilize the RAM in assessing the improvement in maintenance effectiveness produced via decision support tools such as RCM and RBI.
